I am currently working as a security researcher in the industry and also an adjunct assistant professor at the Complex Network and Security Research Laboratory at Virginia Tech. I received my Ph.D from Virginia Tech under the supervision of Professor Wenjing Lou. I completed my undergraduate and master degrees at the University of Massachusetts - Amherst.
My research focuses primarily on the general area of system security, consists of the following

Software Security: Rootkit; Automatic software vulnerability discovery on binary and source code; Reverse engineering; Malware classification
Cyber-physical System and IoT Security: Cognitive radio network security; Industrial control system security; User authentication; Privacy in IoT
